Sunrise Church launched in 2023 in the Deep South in Cape Town. We're a diverse community learning to love Jesus with all of our hearts and to live out our faith in authentic community.

Our Pastor
Sunrise is led by Tristan Jensen alongside his wife Emma and their two children, Olive and Micah.
Tristan’s journey began in the Eastern Cape, where he felt called to ministry early in life. After studying education, he stepped into church leadership as a ministry intern in Gqeberha. Emma also shares a background in education and now works as an interior designer. Together, Tristan and Emma bring a pioneering spirit and a heartfelt commitment to building a healthy, life-giving church community.
Their vision is rooted in connecting with the people of Kommetjie, Ocean View, Imhoff, and the surrounding areas, sharing the life-transforming message of Jesus. Grounded in authentic faith and warm community, the Jensen family shares a love for worship, family life, and everything the Deep South has to offer.
